When veterans are transitioning from military life to student life. They face many obstacles. Although the GI bill covers things such as tuition, housing, and text books. Many find themselves struggling to get needed supplies, to include college essentials and food. IWF is honored to “fill in the gaps” for our nations finest. In the photo below are the beginning of incoming supplies that soon, will be distributed to three Tennessee colleges for their Veterans resource center. What the Post-9/11 GI Bill does not prepare veterans for is the emotional and psychological stress linked to transitioning. IWF aims to make life a little easier
The older generations whom have taken care of us in times past, Now needs assistance themselves. It is an honor to be able to help them.
